Teaching Opportunities
All Levels Instructor:
Thursdays 5:30pm-9:30pm
Will teach a variety of skill sets and student skill levels. Includes handbuilding and wheel skills. Class structure and demos can be curated to instructor style, but will have a list of basics that must be taught.
Drop In Instructor:
Saturdays 1:30pm-5:30pm
This class session is for people looking to try out our studio, try clay for the first time, and for current students for make up sessions. Depending on the students this can include finishing student pieces (trimming, glazing, etc.)

Intro to Wheel Throwing Instructor:
Sundays 1:30pm-5:30pm
This class is for newbies specifically for wheel throwing. Will need to have a strong ability to teach fundamentals of wheel throwing to complete newbies.
Date Night Instructor:
Varies, Fri/Sat
This class is for... Date Night! Teaching couples to throw on the wheel. Currently once every 6 weeks, pending instructor can add more sessions. Since they are one off classes this can/does include trimming and glazing student pieces.

Instructor Positions:

Every new Instructor will start with one class, after 2 sessions completed and the first review additional classes can be added to the instructors roster.

Class sessions are 7 weeks long, meeting once a week for 6 weeks. The 7th week is an off week with no active class but scheduled for open studio work. This week also lets us push back a class in a session if something interferes, ie. vacation, holiday, illness etc. and we cant find a sub.

Classes are 3 hours long, instructors scheduled for 4 hours. 30 min before class and 30 min after to allow for any prep and clean up.​

If no studio tech is available during class, you may need to operate the register.

If an interview is scheduled you will have a "teach us" portion to demonstrate your teaching style and abilities.

We do not offer 1099 status, we do this so our employees taxes are covered, you qualify for Colorado Sick leave, and you are covered under our Workers Comp policy.​

We start at $20 per hour.

Reviews happen for Instructors after each of the first two sessions taught, first 6 months, then yearly afterward.​
