Service Description
We offer Raku Firing at our studio every 3rd and 6th Saturday of our 6 Week course sessions. If you are a student these firings are included in your class cost just like any other glaze firing we offer at the studio. If you are not taking a class with us, you can sign up for this event to bring your own pieces to fire. Pieces must be an appropriate clay body and bisque fired prior to the firing. Unsure about what clay to use or if the clay you have already used is appropriate, feel free to give us a call. The $80 price point gets you up to 10 pieces in the firing and includes use of our glazes. We can bisque fire work for $2 a lb prior to the Raku Firing, but they must be brought in to fire at least 1 week prior.

Cancellation Policy
Classes are 6 weeks long meeting for 3 hours per week. However, there are 8 weeks available to you when you book a class. The 7th week allows for makeup class time and open studio access to finish work done in class. The 8th week allows for additional studio access to finish glazing pieces if needed. While you are a student you have access to our open studio hours at $3 an hour. Studio time for none students is regularly $20 an hour. Two makeup classes are available because we know life happens. Makeup classes can be done during open studio hours, Drop-In Sessions, or if a seat is available in another class. Drop-In and In-Class makeup sessions must be signed up for pending availability and have guaranteed instructor access. Open Studio hours do not need to be booked, but have varied access to instructors. CANCELATION POLICY: You may cancel for a full refund if you cancel 48 hours before your class starts. Otherwise we cannot issue a refund. If you cannot attend after the start of you class we can work with you to defer to another session.
