Service Description

We offer Raku Firing at our studio every 3rd and 6th Saturday of our 6 Week course sessions. If you are a student these firings are included in your class cost just like any other glaze firing we offer at the studio. If you are not taking a class with us, you can sign up for this event to bring your own pieces to fire. Pieces must be an appropriate clay body and bisque fired prior to the firing. Unsure about what clay to use or if the clay you have already used is appropriate, feel free to give us a call. The $80 price point books your spot and allows up to 10 pieces at $2 per lb and includes use of our glazes. We can bisque fire work for an additional $2 a lb prior to the Raku Firing, but they must be brought in to fire at least 1 week prior. If you are totally new to Raku and want to try it but don't have any work, you can book a Newbie Raku session where we provide the pots!
